Pastor Willie L. Hinton, Sr
Pastor Hinton was born in Phoenix, IL, the tenth of twelve children. He and his wife, Doris, have been married since 1978 and are the parents of Aaron and Willie Jr. He became a Christian at age 15. He graduated from Richton High School in Richton, Mississippi in 1974, and served six years in the United States Army.
Pastor Hinton was licensed and ordained by Community Missionary Baptist Church in Pacific Grove, California in 1977. He received an Associate's Degree in Divinity from New Orleans Seminary in 1988, and a Bachelor's in Theology from International Seminary in Plymouth, Florida in 1992. May 16th 2014, he received a Masters of Arts in Christian Studies from Luther Rice University in Atlanta, Georgia. On May 18th, 2018 Pastor Hinton received the Master of Divinity Degree from Luther Rice and he is currently enrolled in the Doctor of Ministry Degree Program.
Pastor Hinton became pastor of West Mastin Lake in 1990 and was previously pastor of St. James Baptist Church in Gulfport, MS.
