The garden ministry started in the Spring of 2006 by one of our deacons and master gardner Rudolph Johnson.
He started with a small garden and with the help of some dedicated workers each year the ministry has produced and harvested greens, potatoes, tomatoes
and many more vegetables. Thanks to a generous neighbor, the ministry expanded the garden to
an adjoining lot next to the church that has enabled the ministry to grow bigger yield crops such as corn and melons.
The ministry's vision is to expand the congregational envolvment in the garden, especially the young,
trusing in God that their involvement and participating will ensure the ministry will continue
for generations to come.
